Christophe Arend joins Creative Valley as an expert

We are pleased to welcome Christophe Arend, former deputy of Moselle, as an expert within Creative Valley.

Indeed, from 2017 to 2022, he was the deputy for the 6th constituency of Moselle and sat on the Commission for Sustainable Development and Land Use in the National Assembly. He has highlighted the revitalization of territories and the energy transition, themes he is particularly fond of.

President of the France-Germany friendship group, Christophe Arend specializes in relations with our German neighbor. In September 2022, Christophe Arend became the director of the Saarland House in France in Paris. The aim is to improve the competitiveness and innovative strength of the Saarland's economy in order to ensure its long-term sustainability.

With his many experiences, he will bring all his expertise to startups on key topics such as Defense, Artificial Intelligence or the Environment. In 2021, he organized an AI training day for the auditors of the French Ministry of the Interior's Higher Artificial Intelligence Circle.

He is also a member of the executive committee of the GEBF (Government Business Executive Forum). GBEF Executive Committee members are senior business and government professionals who share a common interest in technology-driven mission performance for government and critical infrastructure sectors.

As a member of the advisory board of Saarland's East Side fab Lab, Saarland's business innovation accelerator, he will bring his international knowledge to our entrepreneurs looking to export to other countries, especially Germany.
